Supercross Futures
WHAT IS SUPERCROSS FUTURES?
Supercross Futures an AMA National Championship will continue in 2024. The championship will consist of 4 invitational qualifying rounds of the best riders in the world that race with A or B classifications. The Supercross Futures National Championship will help develop elite level athletes while preparing them to make the next step into racing the world’s fastest professional riders.
2024 SCHEDULE
Four Supercross events will serve as Premier qualifying rounds for the Supercross Futures AMA National Championship. Athletes competing in the 250 Futures Class will be awarded points towards their pro Supercross license based on their finishing positions at these Premier qualifying events. Fans will again be able to preview the next generation of talent as part of the Saturday Supercross race-day schedule.
Supercross Futures Premier Qualifying Events:
- Round 1 – Anaheim, CA. on January 26 & 27 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim
- Round 2 – Daytona Beach, FL. on March 1 & 2 at Daytona International Speedway
- Round 3 – St. Louis, MO. on March 29 & 30 at The Dome at America’s Center
- Round 4 – Foxborough, MA. on April 12 & 13 at Gillette Stadium
Rider selections will be chosen in conjunction with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to develop a 25-rider field for each of the Premier rounds. The top five eligible riders from each of those Premier events will earn an entry into the Supercross Futures AMA National Championship taking place at Round 17 of Monster Energy Supercross in Salt Lake City on Saturday, May 11 at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Here, the fastest amateur riders will compete for a coveted AMA National Championship.
